Love to see bands but why are there so few venues now in Sydney to see live music? No wonder the majority of us listen to older music... lets 'unearth' some more upcoming bands!

This is the age of making friends & dating by searching databases on various dating sites, and basically entrusting that the photo and written blurb are true to the person. Then once you see a photo that catches your eye, or something is written that connects with you, you may choose to contact them. You may either meet up after a short time of 'chatting' or perhaps spend longer getting to know the person through phone calls and chat. After a while, it seems you are best buddies and so in tune with each other that you are finishing eachother's sentences. You can't wait to meet!
The big day arrives, you are excited, nervous, in love etc and are sitting at the table with your drink, waiting for your internet friend to arrive. Then you see someone come over to you, and it dawns on you that he/she is this person. But they look nothing like you expected. I mean NOTHING. Oh, maybe if you really concentrate you can see some resemblance. But you think you will still see how it goes, after all... you have clicked so well up to this point!
You have your little chit chat, but it is not the same as it was online. Sure, he/she is a nice person, but the magic just isn't there. How can that be? You have spent hours in the day and night texting, chatting, emailing and talking on the old fashioned telephone. You have your drinks, say a polite goodbye and head home disappointed. You walk in your house, and log into your computer searching the database again!
